The first three are the lines you choose between. The fourth is not another line — it is a Heritage album with a copy for each set of parents. All of it is hand-bound here and printed on photographic paper.

Everything here happens before you spend anything at all.

Then, only if you love it
You pay for the bound object and nothing else. Five things you control move the quote — line, size, page count, cover and how many books — and you have the number in writing before you decide anything.
Copies — for both sets of parents, for grandparents, or for a sister who was in every photograph — are an addition to the album rather than part of it, and they cost considerably less than the first book, because the design work is done and they bind in the same run. The set of three is priced as one thing; further copies are quoted the same way. Prints, boxes, folios and frames are quoted alongside.
There is no deposit, no card on file and no automatic renewal of anything. If you decide against it, your files are deleted and the gallery stays yours.
What the set includes
The set is something you choose, not something every album comes with: your Heritage album, and one for each set of parents. The three books together are $895, and the copies cost considerably less than the first album — the design work is done once, and all three go through the bindery in one series.
It is priced that way on purpose. The people in the second row watched the whole day from a distance, and they deserve to hold it too. Sets in the Everyday and Matted lines work the same way and are quoted individually, once we know the size and the page count.

Is it worth it?
That is genuinely your call. What we would say is that against the cost of the day an album is a small line, and it is the only part of the day still in your house in thirty years. The flowers are gone, the food is gone, the dress is in a box in the loft. What is left is a folder on a hard drive — unless somebody prints it.
Questions about money
Why is your design free when everyone else charges for it?
Because we earn on the album, not on the drawing. We hold a designer account with our bookbinders and commission enough books to buy on volume, so the margin is in the object — which also keeps us honest: if the design is not good enough to sell the album, we have not earned the album.
Is there a minimum order?
No. One album is a normal order. So is one folio, or a box of prints and nothing else.
What about shipping and duties?
Included. Shipping, customs handling, duties and import taxes are all inside the order price wherever in the world you are — we pay them, you do not. The figure you approve is the figure you pay, and nobody turns up at the door asking for more.
Do you offer payment in instalments?
Ask. If a book is being made for a fixed date and the timing is awkward, we would rather talk about it than lose the book.
