Questions people actually send us

Really free. The gallery is free and stays free. The curation and the design are free. No deposit, no card on file, no trial that quietly becomes a subscription. We design your album, you page through it, and only then do you decide. If it is not for you, say so — we delete your files and you owe us nothing.

We can afford to work this way because we earn on the album rather than on the drawing. A design service with no trade relationship behind it has to charge for the design, because the design is all it sells.

It depends on the line, the size, the page count and the cover, and you get the figure in writing before anything is printed. The Everyday Book starts at $175, the Matted Album at $225 and the Heritage Album at $495. A set of three Heritage albums — yours and one for each set of parents — is $895. There is a full breakdown — including what the rest of the market charges — on the pricing page.

No. One album is a normal order. So is one folio, or a box of prints and nothing else, or a gallery and no printing at all.

All of them. Genuinely — this is the single most common thing people get wrong. Pre-selecting feels helpful, but it removes the material a curator needs to build a rhythm: the quiet frame between two loud ones, the wide shot nobody is in, the detail that makes a spread breathe.

Send the full set and tell us if there are pictures you never want to see again. More on how curation works.

Yes, and it is usually easier. Forward them your gallery link. It saves you downloading three thousand files onto a laptop just to upload them again.

Not one you are likely to meet. A full professional wedding gallery — a couple of thousand full-resolution files — is a normal upload. If you have something genuinely enormous, such as a decade of family archives, tell us and we will make room. What the gallery includes.

Usually, yes. Modern phone files hold up beautifully in print at album size. We check resolution as part of curation, and if something genuinely cannot be printed large we say so rather than silently shrinking it on the page.

In most countries your photographer holds the copyright in the images, and your contract sets out what you may do with the files. Almost every wedding contract allows you to make a personal album. Have a quick look at yours.

If the wording is unclear, tell us and we will write to your photographer ourselves. We work with photographers every day; this is a conversation we have every week and it is nearly always a short one. If your photographer would rather supply the album themselves, that is a good outcome too, and we will say so.

No — we have supplied professional photographers for twenty years and still do. Most of the couples who come to us are people whose album was never part of the package, or whose wedding was long enough ago that the studio has moved on. Where a photographer wants to be involved, we are happy to work through them.

The gallery is ready within minutes. The first design draft comes back within three to five working days of your upload finishing, and revisions are usually turned around inside forty-eight hours. Once you approve the design, the album is printed, hand-bound and shipped within ten working days. Plan on about three to four weeks in total — most of it you taking your time over the design.

Then change them. You get a private link where you can comment on any spread — swap that photo, make this one bigger, more of the speeches, less of the venue exterior. There is no revision limit and no revision fee. The album is not finished until you say it is, and nothing is printed before that.

Yes, and most people do. A parent copy is the same album and the same design in a smaller format. A set of three Heritage albums — yours and one for each set of parents — is $895. A single Heritage album starts at $495, so the two copies come to about $200 each: less than the first book, because the design is drawn only once and all three are bound in one series, from the same materials, which is also why the three books come out identical.

Sets in the Everyday and Matted lines are quoted individually — tell us the size and the page count you have in mind. Either way the gallery, the curation and the design stay free, whether it is one book or three.

Not remotely. A good share of the albums we make are for couples whose wedding was years ago and who finally decided to stop feeling guilty about the folder on the hard drive. If anything the album is better for the wait — you already know which photographs turned out to matter.

Worldwide, and it is included. Shipping, customs handling, duties and import taxes are all inside the order price — we pay them, not you. If the parent copies should go straight to the parents instead, we send each book to its own address, boxed and wrapped as a gift, and the separate addresses add nothing to the price.

Tell us and we remake it. Every album carries a lifetime guarantee against binding and manufacturing defects — not against a toddler and a felt-tip pen, but against anything that is our doing, for as long as you own the book.

They are used to build your gallery and design your album, and for nothing else. We never publish, sell, or train anything on your pictures, and they are never shown as samples without your written permission. If you decide not to go ahead, tell us and your files are deleted. Full detail in the privacy notice.

Yes, at any time and without giving a reason. One message to [email protected] and your gallery, your uploads and your design files are erased. If we have already bound a book we keep the minimum records the law requires for the sale, and nothing else.
